And now, another installment from the strange and bizarre proposal files, brought to you by the pop princess herself, Ms. Britney Spears. According to the New York Daily News, 40-year-old real estate developer John Sundahl "got down on one knee in a Subway sandwich shop in Santa Monica a week ago and proposed with a $4.5 million marquise-cut diamond that he bought at a Frankfurt jewelry store.” Appartently Sundahl and Spears "used to date," “but they reconnected after her show in New Jersey, and now they’re engaged." When asked to comment a Spears rep deadpanned, “Britney is not engaged, she did not get proposed to at Subway last week … Oh, and she has not been abducted by aliens either.”

NEW ENGAGEMENT RING PRINTS ''MARRY ME" ON HER FINGER
And now...An engagement ring for the ultra tacky. Guys, you can propose with a ring that temporarily prints a tattoo on the finger of your bride-to-be. Called the "Inner Message Ring," it doesn't promise she'll say "yes" but does promise to imprint "marry me" on her finger, which she'll discover the first time she takes it off. My thoughts? Call me old-fashioned, but I'd still like to hear the words come out of his mouth, not engraved in my finger. What will they come up with next?

Creepy Easter Bunny Proposal
Giant bunny head... check. Creepy basket of fake eggs... check. Lack of any emotion and passion... check. Alright, I guess I am ready to propose? From the strange and bizarre files... check out this video of a giant Easter Bunny popping the question. I'm hoping this wasn't a real proposal, or I'd feel very sorry for the girl. The best part is the end when he walks away like a bunny zombie before he throws up in his mascot outfit.
