BEFORE YOU MARRY ME, CAN YOU CATCH THAT BALLOON?

Our friends at failblog have recently posted this failed marriage proposal video.



Hiding the ring in the balloon, shooting the video while we hear the rehearsed lines… I doubt anyone is buying it. Even so, guys – it’s a good warning. Don’t be dumb and put the ring in the balloon, or a milkshake or anything else that can fly away or be eaten.

Proposal Hoax? I hope so.

If this proposal doesn't make you think twice about proposing at half court, in front of thousands of fans, I don't know what will. But here's the question: it's been suggested that it was a hoax, set up by the Washington Wizards as "halftime entertainment." I just hope that's true...because it's ice cold. What do you think?

PROPOSAL GONES WRONG AT THE GOOD OLE BROOKLYN BRIDGE


On top of the pedestrian walkway of the Brooklyn Bridge, with all of Manhattan as the backdrop, Don Walling dropped to one knee. But as fickle fate would have it, the ring dropped with him, "falling out" of the box (as he claims) and through the walkway planks to the traffic below. So, he did what any groom-to-be should do...he kissed his fiance and climbed down the bridge's superstructure, triggering a jumper alert. The rest is history...WATCH
